Finally when you're ready to play in non-VR double click on the file, it will ask you to press any key to disable VR, then just leave the dos box open and enjoy your game. Now close the file and when it asks save the contents. It just sucks when developers make assumptions on how their software is used - especially when they make a major change to the way it works. I'm still hoping there's some sort of flag in a settings file that can be set otherwise it's basically useless for me until the add some sort of menu option for it. It'd be one thing if the Rift just used the front USB ports as that wouldn't be a big deal but since it's got to connect to my video card in the back with my setup it's a huge pain in the ass. I'm not going to spend 10 minutes crawling around under my machine just so I can play one game, then 10 minutes when I'm do so I can play others. Well clearly Steam isn't going to give me a refund given both the amount of time and hours I have playing it but when a vendor does something so totally half-assed that it makes the game unplayable or a major pain in the ass to do so that's rather idiotic.
